Annemarie Flanagan is a seasoned journalist with a background in BBC Radio and Television, as well as a freelance news and feature writer. She spent many years as the Editor of Ealing Today, a leading news and events website. Her passion for film and television led her to complete a Master’s degree in Scriptwriting with the highly regarded Raindance Film Festival, sparking her ambition to bring a similar festival to Ealing—the historic home of British film. A natural networker and connector, Annemarie thrives in the creative and sociable world of filmmakers, where her enthusiasm for storytelling and community building finds the perfect outlet.

Alan Granley is passionate about film and watching film. He ran Ealing’s Classic Cinema Club for 10+ years with a dedicated team of volunteers before taking this experience forward to co-found Ealing Film Festival. When he isn’t watching a flat screen of some sort, he is passionate about all things recovery 😉 an avid photographer, a proud father of a daughter who works in television and film making documentaries.

Ealing Film Festival’s host is a movie journalist, editor & publisher. Andrew published Uncut & Cahiers du Cinéma and wrote for the NME, Total Film & Marvel. He is chief operating officer of Titan Publishing & Forbidden Planet.

Kevin McGrath joined the company in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience and a deep passion for the film industry. As an Executive Film Producer, Kevin has been involved in producing several notable films, including An Irish Goodbye, which won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film at the 95th Academy Awards and the Best British Short Film at the 76th BAFTA Awards.

Beyond his contributions to the film industry, Kevin serves as the Principal of The McGrath Family Office. His extensive business career spans several decades, during which he has made significant personal commitments to philanthropy and public service, consistently demonstrating his dedication to making a positive impact.

Russell England is a television documentary producer and director, with experience in commercials and drama, including directing the British feature film ‘Unhallowed Ground’. He started his career at Ealing Film Studios when it was owned by the BBC, and he’s lived and worked in the borough ever since. He’s passionate about factual storytelling and encouraging the next generation of documentary filmmakers.

Anthony Coyle-Dowling is the Commercial Director and plays a key role in shaping the festival. He oversees its organisation, blending strategic business insight with a passion for the arts. His expertise and understanding of the creative sector have been instrumental in building strong partnerships and enhancing the experience for both visitors and participants. Anthony’s leadership has been central to the festival’s continued growth and strong reputation within the local community. In addition to his work with the festival, he brings a wealth of experience from his own estate agency, Coyle Dowling Real Estate, making him a valuable and dynamic member of the team.

Katarzyna is an experienced photographer specialising in live events, having previously worked at iconic venues including Vortex, Ronnie Scott’s, and the Guildhall. She has been the official photographer for the Ealing Film Festival since 2022.

With a deep passion for cinematography, Katarzyna explores the interplay between space, character, and audience—drawing on her background in fine art, curatorial work, and stage design. She began her stage design journey at local institutions such as Questors Theatre and Riverside Studios, and continues to pursue innovative creative projects across West London, particularly in Ealing.

Tina Crossley joins us as our Volunteer Coordinator. With a passion for working with people, Tina began her career in tourism but spent most of her professional life in television. She then managed the team that did the rosters for studio operational crews at both the BBC and Sky, ensuring teams were in place for live broadcasts and studio productions. Later, she took on the responsibility of overseeing studio bookings, anticipating production requirements and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day of filming. Outside of work, Tina has a love for film, television, theatre, art, animals, and enjoys socialising and connecting with people.

Anna is a communications and social media professional with years of experience developing impactful digital strategies for brands and non-profits. With a BA in Advertising and PR, she enjoys creating engaging content, building authentic connections, and delivering measurable results in both sales and brand engagement.

Outside of her professional roles, Anna has grown a popular food blog from scratch, giving her a hands-on feel for what makes content connect. She enjoys working on projects that explore culture, art, film, or sustainability — and believes the best communication comes from curiosity and care.
